Directions to Visit our Shop

Below are directions to get to NESG, from both the I-5 and from within Tacoma. If you have any difficulties with these directions, please feel free to call us at (253) 588-8156.



From the I-5

If you are coming from out-of-town, then these are the directions to follow. Since we are very close to the I-5, this is the easiest way for you to get here.

  1. It doesn't matter whether you're coming from I-5 North or South, take exit 129 (72nd St.).
  2. If you're coming from North I-5, turn right after taking the exit. if you're coming from I-5 south, turn left at the exit.
  3. Follow 72nd St. down to South Tacoma Way. 72nd St. turns into 74th St. along the way, so don't be surprised.
  4. Turn left on South Tacoma Way and make sure to pass over to the far right lane, as soon as it is safe to do so.
  5. If you keep your eye on the right side of the street, you will see our sign, placed at the turn into the complex where our shop is located. It is approximately 2 blocks from the intersection of 74th St. and South Tacoma Way.
  6. After you take the right turn into our complex, you will see our shop located straight ahead of you.


From Inside the Tacoma Area

If you're already inside Tacoma, then these directions may make it easier to get here. Coming from the I-5 may also be easier, depending on where in Tacoma you are.

- From the Lakewood Area

  1. Get onto Steilacoom Blvd, heading east.
  2. Follow Steilacoom Blvd. until it ends at the South Tacoma Way intersection.
  3. Turn left onto South Tacoma Way and get into the left lane.
  4. Go approximately 6 blocks.
  5. If you keep your eye on the left side of the street, you will see our sign, placed at the turn into the complex where our shop is located.
  6. After you take the left turn into our complex, you will see our shop located straight ahead of you.

- From the 6th Ave Area and North Tacoma

Coming from the North End of Tacoma, there is an easier route than dealing with the often-congested area of the I-5 around the interchange with Hwy. 16. By taking this surface street route, you'll most likely get here a bit faster and much less frustrated.

  1. From anywhere in the North End, get on 6th Avenue and head towards Union St.
  2. Head south on Union (towards the Tacoma Mall area) and make sure to be in the right lane.
  3. Take the exit to South Tacoma Way (you will see it once you are coming to the bridge before the 38th St. intersection.
  4. Follow South Tacoma Way down to 74th St. Make sure you are in the right lane by the time you get to this intersection.
  5. Go through the 74th St. intersection, and go approximately 2 more blocks.
  6. If you keep your eye on the right side of the street, you will see our sign, placed at the turn into the complex where our shop is located. It is approximately 2 blocks from the intersection of 74th St. and South Tacoma Way.
  7. After you take the right turn into our complex, you will see our shop located straight ahead of you.
