Creating AVI files from DICOM images
Install AVICreator
| Install AVICreator on your machine. This software is necessary to create AVI files from the pictures exported by eFilm. |
Export images from your eFilm study
| Follow the directions listed on our Exporting
Images from eFilm page. However, instead of exporting the
images in JPG format, you must remember to export the images as bitmaps
(.bmps). You can select bitmaps as shown below.

Open AVICreator
| The main AVICreator window looks like this:
The main setting to be worried about is the "Rate:" dialog shown near the top right of the screen. This is the number of pictures that will be displayed per second. Click the first button on the menu, or select File / Add Pictures to Project. Hold down the SHIFT button and use the mouse button to select the series of images you want to use.
Click on the movie button or select AVI / Create AVI from the menu. You will be asked to give your AVI file name and choose a location to save it in. Once saved, you can now view your AVI file by double clicking the file itself or clicking the Test button within AVICreator. |
